Large consumer product goods companies power manufacturing six sigma program with Minitab© and ZPI…

A new and innovative piece of software from Zarpac Performance Index (ZPI) is helping large companies quickly and effectively work toward their Six Sigma goals by making it easy to analyze ZPI data with Minitab® Statistical Software.

The ZPI- Minitab© Link effectively blends the innovative data collection and analysis capabilities of Zarpac Performance Index with the proven statistical power of Minitab©, the leading data analysis software used for quality improvement worldwide.

The ZPI-Minitab© Link was developed in response to a request from a Zarpac customer, who wanted an easier way to take the valuable data being collected in ZPI and analyze it in Minitab©.

By creating a direct link between ZPI manufacturing performance data and any Minitab© project, the system eliminates the time-consuming process of manually collecting and transferring data. "This effectively ends the days of cumbersome tabular data manipulation, saving time, money, and enabling Six Sigma projects to get off the ground in record time," says a representative at ZPI.

Using ZPI's intuitive Minitab© Link wizard, users are able to create new Minitab© projects by selecting the required data and options. As a project progresses, the wizard can automatically update and maintain the project with the most recent production data, saving even more time in the control stage of the DMAIC process.

Office Renovations

ZPI has just undergone an overhaul of our world headquarters which may have led to an interruption in telephone support response time. We apologize for the inconvenience but as we have grown we have seen a need to expand our work area. The new office layout should allow for us to continue going ZPI in to the new era of data acquisition.
